I hosted a photographer's retreat at Villa Mannao from May 18th-23rd. We are a group of 8 photographers and we had the most amazing time at the villa. The villa is way more gorgeous than the photographers I saw on Airbnb. It is luxurious, spacious, well appointed and absolutely stunning! The rooms are so beautiful! The surrounding lawns and rice fields are lush and vast! It was like heaven on earth. The staff was just the best I have come across. Right from the time I booked the villa, to organizing all the details of the retreat, the sightseeing, the delicious food at the villa - all the arrangements were handled exceptionally well. They even booked the sightseeing entrance tickets for our group, made reservations at the restaurants we visited, organised an amazing live traditional Balinese entertainment for us at the villa, a yoga class and a beautiful cooking class in Ubud. They organized a birthday cake for one of us at very short notice and took such good care of us. I would like to mention the names of a few staff, who we interacted with, who gave us the best hospitality anyone can ask for - Ratih at their head office, who was my main contact; Ms Ayu, who took care of all the details once we arrived at the villa, and her staff Darsin & Putu! There were a few more staff who were extremely helpful and kind - I could not get their names unfortunately. We felt like they all were family. We even danced together on the last night. It was heartwarming and I would love to come back to Villa Mannao! I highly recommend it for groups of 8-16 people. I would give them 11/10! Thank you for the warmth & genuine hospitality!

This was my second time staying at the beautiful Villa Mannao! The villa is in an absolutely beautiful location backing a working rice field. we booked the entire villa both times and enjoyed three pools, exceptional customer service from Ayu and the team, as well as exceptional communication from Rakha. Food and drinks are delicious and fresh at the mannao. staff goes above and beyond! i lol forward to returning soon!!!

The Villa was amazing from the minute we walked in the staff were so helpful. The food was also great and always available through the day. I loved this Villa for our large group as it met all our needs.

The Villa Mannao and it's crew under the leadership of Ms Ayu keeps amazing me. It's been the third time that I spent my birthday here (2015, 1019, 2024) and we had again a fantastic time. Special shout out for the birthday dinner with the babi guling and the personalized coconuts. We'll be back! :)

Staying at Villa Mannao was a 11/10 experience. The pictures do not do the place justice, just a beautiful villa. Ayu and the rest of the team were amazing throughout the whole trip, assisting us with anything we needed and keeping our bellies full. Would 1000% recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Villa Mannao was truly an unforgettable experience for our family of 17. The villa offered the perfect setting for us to enjoy quality time together, allowing us to make the most of every moment as one big, happy family. The open kitchen was a fantastic feature, where we could gather, had cooking lessons with the chefs to cook our own dinner, and enjoy freshly prepared meals that catered to everyone’s tastes. This, combined with the convenience of having drivers whenever we needed, made our time here even more enjoyable and stress-free. The beauty of Villa Mannao was something special; its rooms and design created a spacious yet cozy atmosphere, making it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The property was meticulously designed to offer both privacy and communal areas, so whether we wanted quiet time by ourselves or group activities, it had it all. The scenery, coupled with the comfortable amenities, made it a wonderful backdrop for family bonding and unforgettable memories. We truly cherished every moment spent together in such a beautiful place.

Walking through the gates we were blown away by how beautiful it was, the photos don’t do it justice, it exceeded everyone’s expectations. All staff were lovely, attentive and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Blue Jay cafe around the corner and the hole in the wall yiros place were brilliant!

I booked this villa along with Little Mannao for my company’s first-ever retreat. All of us work remotely, so for some of us, it’s the first time seeing each other in person after knowing them through screens. Being together in a huge place like this allowed us to spend time with each other, which is what I love about Villa Mannao. We absolutely loved the amount of space and greenery around the area. We had 2 young families that joined us with their little ones, and they loved that the kiddos have space to freely roam within the villa. The small downside feedback is that some sharing rooms have open-concept bathrooms, which can be quite inconvenient. The staff was fantastic, both in villa-finder (shoutout to Thomas and Sofi, who were my superheroes!) and in the Mannao Estate. Big hugs to Ayu, the villa butler, who was an incredible support throughout our stay. The villa can be a little tricky to find if you’re using ride-hailing apps, as the small lane can be overlooked. It’s just a small inconvenience that can get better the longer you stay, of course. It might be better to place a few signs along a few routes to get to the respective villas around the same area. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I hope to have the chance to stay here again, or somewhere else similar under villa finder :)

We loved our stay. The staff were fantastic. Anything we needed they were happy to help. Cleaning the room everyday was excellent. Food was great. Our big highlight was the hospitality of the staff! We absolutely loved our family getaway

We had the best time at Villa Mannao. Ayu the villa manager is incredible. She and her team ensure that everything is running smoothly and that all your wishes are catered for. We had a big Indonesian BBQ dinner on our second night and it was a total success. The lighting, the food, the music everything was just perfect. The food throughout the entire stay was spot on. We can not recommend this villa enough and certainly will be back.!

We stayed at Villa Mannao with our extended family from NZ and Australia. The villa is perfect for big groups with lots of seating areas. It rained for the first two days and we had plenty of space for 20 people to relax and spread out. The outdoor area is what makes Villa Mannao so special. Two beautiful wet edge pools surrounded by a large garden and views out across a rice paddy field. The staff are fantastic. Very accomodating and discreet. The Villa can be tricky to find so best to drop a pin on the map to help the drivers find you. Our family group ranges from 83 to 19 years old and the villa worked very well for everyone. Also our thanks to the Villa finder concierge for helping us make arrangements for food and airport transfers.

We stayed at Villa Mannao for my 40th birthday with 5 families. What a place. So private and secure but still close enough to Seminyak if you want some action, however why would you leave this villa. Ayu and the staff are incredible, making sure your every desire is taken care of. The food is some of the best Balinese I have ever eaten. They also catered my 40th birthday dinner and it was such a special memory, with the Baba Guling being an absolute highlight. The Villa is so very grand with so much space to spread out, and two pools!!!!! The staff go over and above to ensure the cleanliness of the Villa and the pictures do not show just how glamorous this Villa truely is. Ayu also organised day trips for some of our guest, daily massages/facial, IV therapy and other bespoke requests whilst we were there. We are all very much looking forward to our next visit to Villa Mannao.
